"We surround ourselves with meaningful things and try to create things that will be meaningful to others as well."
About Chad Isham
"Doing exactly what I want to do every day of the year."
Born and raised in Texas my family and I split our life between Texas and Mexico. My father retired from the Western Industry in the early 80's purchasing a 100 year old villa in Jalisco, Mexico. I spent the better part of my twenties travelling and exporting from Latin America. I also lived in Scandinavia for a year, NYC, Colorado and a few other places along the way.
During the 80's I studied art at the University of North Texas and the Instituto Allende in San Miguel de Allende Gto. I worked mostly as a scenic artist in the TV/Film Industry in the 90's.
My leatherwork began at a very early age repairing and making cowboy gear for myself but for the last 10 years it's been my sole livelihood.
About Zuzanna Isham
Native Slavic born in Poland, Europe. Growing up with one leg in the big city and the other leg in the Polish villages. I love my domestic tradition and culture, especially when it comes to handmade objects. I was always fascinated by colorful embroidery worn by my ancestors from head to toe, which for sure is the pride of my nation.
I've spent my life working in the fashion industry both behind the scenes and as an editor for ELLE Magazine. I was travelling around Europe to meet different cultures and write about inspiring people, places worth seeing and events worth being experienced.
That journey took me overseas, where I met my husband, best friend and business partner. We live a simple life in a 100 year old farm house located on a cattle ranch in Texas. Our days are filled by creating, cooking and taking care of a menagerie of animals.
